Resumen

Este ensayo examina la construcción discursiva de miembros clave del CD y documental de Buena Vista Social Club. Usando la literatura de los estudios culturales transnacionales, el ensayo sugiere que la “autenticidad” es un marcador clave de la movilización de World Music como texto sonoro, y el Buena Vista Social Club es un ejemplo de este proceso.
