Experiencias de investigación con alumnos de profesional y postgrado en el Tecnológico de Monterrey, México

Abstract

In the las 10 years, many undergraduate and graduate students have been active participants in multiple investigation activities at the Center of Investigation in Communication and Information (CINCO), the Chair of Investiagation in Audio-visual Media and Globalization in North America, and in the program of Master in Communication at ITESM. Students have become involved as investigation asistants, co-authors of articles and reports, and even as paper presenters in national meetings. This paper starts discussing why there's a lack of motivation toward investigation in Latinamerican schools of communication, justifies the importance of its incorporation in study plans and sugests different strategies for the involvement and training of students in this topic. While mentioning each of the different options, references are made of how communication students of Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterreyhave participated in the investigation from teaching.
